Susan Vitale is a retired Navy captain with over 28 years of executive leadership, strategic planning, program management, and intelligence experience.

Professional  Experience

  • Currently employed by Microsoft Corporation  
  • Responsible for a $50M Enterprise Services business supporting Federal Government agencies that include the US Senate, the US House of Representatives, and the US Supreme Court, and international organizations such as the World Bank Group, the United Nations, and the International Monetary Fund.
  • Led development and implementation team effort to digitally transform the 2016 Republican National Convention’s Information Technology (IT) solution, providing robust capability with zero downtime, and zero IT security incidents during the convention.

 

  • United States Navy Veteran.  Twenty-six-year Career Naval Intelligence Officer.
  • Directed worldwide operations of U.S. Navy personnel on specialized missions. Led 95 personnel in 14 U.S. and international locations.  Realigned organizational structure and established strategic plan that minimized operational risk and resulted in a 25% increase in productivity within the first year of implementation.
  • Managed a $1B Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) system program budget which generated significant Congressional investment based on sound requirements integrated with fiscal accountability.
